Golf Courses

Old Course (Bovey Castle)

This challenging and beautiful course was created by JF Abercromby in 1926. Designed to be an English version of its original sister courses at Gleneagles and Turnberry, it is recognised as one of south west England's finest inland layouts. With tree lined fairways and superb small greens as well as the rivers Bovey and Bowden consistently coming into play, the championship course offers a true challenge to all levels of players. There are many memorable holes not least the 7th which Henry Cotton said "is possibly the best par 4 in British in-land golf."

18 holes. Par 70. 6303 yards. Parkland / Woodland. Show scorecard.
